Dr. Carrie Roitstein, OD has 30 years of experience in the optometry industry. Previously the Managing Doctor for Spex, she is now a proud partner of Glimpse Vision as an independent optometrist — working alongside some of the most talented and knowledgeable opticians in both Hinsdale, IL and Chicago's Gold Coast. With a certification in integrative nutrition, Dr. Carrie combines her expertise in medical wellness with the latest technology for diagnosing and treating eye conditions. She also works with the newest options in specialty contact lenses, exclusive independent eyewear designers, and prescription lenses in the industry. She is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Dr. Carrie strives to introduce her patients to safer, healthier eyecare products for the treatment and prevention of eye disease. She offers co-management services for LASIK, cataract surgery, and other necessary and elective surgical intervention. She specializes in treating dry eye disease with all-natural and non-toxic products — supplements, lid treatments, lubricating drops and more — and offers expertise in specialty contact lenses including custom multifocals, hybrid and scleral lenses for the treatment of corneal disease. She welcomes new patients of all ages.
In addition to providing her patients with premium eyecare, she loves to give back through eyecare mission trips to Mexico. She also rides 111 miles annually on the Owl Ride, supporting the local Jackson Chance Foundation.
