The collection

Inside the Tokyo Bay collection.

Tokyo Bay is David Spencer’s Japanese-titanium collection — lightweight frames whose unifying detail is an innovative open keyhole bridge, with a clean, airy geometry inspired by Japanese pagodas. The line traces back to a 1991 collaboration between a San Francisco and a Tokyo designer, and its styles still carry the names of iconic San Francisco streets.

Best for: Featherweight titanium · Minimal design · All-day wear

Why we carry Tokyo Bay

The details that matter.

Every collection we carry earns its place. Here’s why Tokyo Bay is in our cases.

01.

Japanese titanium

Light, strong, hypoallergenic titanium made in Japan — the kind of frame you stop noticing because it’s so comfortable.

02.

The open keyhole bridge

The signature detail that ties the whole collection together — an airy, pagoda-clean geometry that’s instantly Tokyo Bay.

03.

Named for San Francisco

Each style carries the name of an iconic San Francisco street — a nod to where the collection’s story began.

at both locations.

Both Glimpse locations carry Tokyo Bay. Bring a friend, take photos, try every shape twice. Our opticians have spent decades fitting frames; their eye is part of what you’re paying for.
