Dr. Janette Perez, OD, is a dedicated optometrist in Chicago and Hinsdale specializing in primary eye care and specialty contact lens fittings. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in 2021. While at ICO, she completed a prestigious post-doctorate residency in Ocular Disease, Primary Eye Care, and Neuro-Optometry in partnership with the Illinois Eye Institute.
After completing her training, Dr. Perez left her native Chicago for the Sonoran desert. There she brought her passion for optometry and integrative eye care to Tucson, Arizona. There, she practiced at a multi-disciplinary medical center, gaining extensive experience in dry eye and ocular surface disease management, as well as specialty contact lens fittings. Her approach to care emphasizes personalized, comprehensive eye exams and a deep understanding of each patient’s visual needs.
Now based once again in Chicago, Dr. Perez is proud to provide high-quality, compassionate eye care services to her community. When she’s not seeing patients, she enjoys exploring Chicago’s vibrant restaurant scene and attending local shows. She enjoys relaxing along the lakefront, and spending time with family and friends.
